Our Name

Our name is Sansa Art because we live in a world where our artists roam 'without protection'. San: Middle English: from Old French sanz, from a variant of Latin sine ‘without’. Sa: The Sa was the ancient Egyptian symbol meaning ‘protection’, from pyramid texts. Artists roam without protection. Sansa Art tries to change that, even in our own small way.
